The two year study programme is pursued in tandem
to a professional career. Courses will be mainly held in Ingelfingen,
with seminars in London at the English partner institutes. Furthermore,
the study programme will also follow the "Distance Learning"
principle. A considerable portion of the programme will be carried
out virtually and via email with the students that are involved
in the project and the English university professors. The teaching
language is English only.
This study programme is being carried out with Burkert's involvement
for the second time this year. The group of students is comprised
of 8 managers from Burkert's European and Asian companies.
The attendance based lectures in Germany will also provide
them with an excellent opportunity to improve their business
contacts with the parent company. An additional 12 up-and-coming
managers, mainly from Germany, will also be participating.
All of the students are employed with renowned national and
international companies. It is precisely this mix which promises
the students a deepening of their professional skills as they
will be constantly in contact with each other.
The study programme is divided into two years of study, including
a one week course in London. Over the course of 10 study blocks,
the students will receive in-depth knowledge of strategic
corporate management and must demonstrate the skills they
have acquired in project work. Great emphasis will be placed
in the independent understanding of the knowledge by the participants,
which will then be explored further in seminars.
The exams will be taken in London and/or Ingelfingen. Students
that successfully complete the study programme will be awarded
the title of Master of Business Administration (MBA).
